Delete Your IC Buddy Account
IC Buddy™ lets you create an account to save symptom diary entries, profile information, and subscription status. You can delete your account and associated personal data using either method below. Deletion is permanent once completed.
Option 1 — Delete in the app (fastest)
In-app deletion is immediate after confirmation, and you are signed out automatically.
- Open IC Buddy and sign in.
- Go to Settings.
- Scroll to the Account section.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm.
Google Play subscription
Deleting your IC Buddy account does not cancel an active Google Play subscription. Cancel it separately in your Google Play subscriptions.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
Email icbuddy.support@gmail.com from the address associated with your account with the subject “Account deletion request.” Do not include your password or medical history. We may require reasonable verification, but we will never ask for your password. Email requests are processed within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Email and password credentials.
- Profile information, including name, date of birth, gender, height, weight, and IC profile fields.
- Symptom, food, bathroom, water, and journal logs.
- Medications, appointments, and tracking preferences.
- Onboarding agreement records and server-side subscription status.
- Authentication sessions and tokens.
What may be retained
For up to 30 days, limited security, fraud-prevention, legal, billing-dispute, and backup records may remain. Anonymous operational logs may be retained for service reliability when they cannot identify you.
Before you delete
- Export or copy any information you want to keep.
- Cancel any active Google Play subscription separately.
- Understand that deletion is permanent and deleted data cannot be recovered.
